We Are Thrilled To Be Back!
No Cold Child is thrilled to be back for its third consecutive year! The initiative founded by Fortis Group began in 2020 as a response to the overwhelming need of families in the Windsor-Essex community. With the help of our incredible industry partners and community, we have provided over 600 coats and outerwear packages to children and youth in the Windsor-Essex area.
You Can Help a Child Today
Once again, this year, we are seeking to help those most vulnerable among us and provide outerwear packages for those in need this winter season. This year our team will be working with the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Foundation to provide individualized outerwear and hygiene packages to those in care. Each package includes a coat, hat, scarf, gloves, hygiene products and necessities.
Partnerships
Fortis Group has once again partnered with MisterMaid to support the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Foundation. The Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Foundation (WECAF) generates programs for 1 in 8 children and youth in the community to which the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society provides services. The foundation believes that every child deserves an equal opportunity for reaching their potential, and the essence of this is ensuring their basic needs are met.

Additional Ways to Help
Fortis Group will be accepting donations of new outwear items and children’s hygiene products. The drop-off location will be at Fortis Group’s Corporate Head Office, located at 416 Advance Blvd, Tecumseh, Ontario. The following items will be accepted:

No Cold Child is only able to accept new unworn or unused items at this time. Unfortunately, we are not able to take any used or secondhand items.
