Embarking on the renovation journey of the Ron W. Ianni Faculty of Law Building at the heart of the University of Windsor campus, we embraced a profound commitment to honour its historical significance while ushering in a vision for the future.

The project retains the building’s bold signature exterior, which has become an iconic part of the University of Windsor’s history. The cast-in-place concrete structure was expertly renovated to preserve its unique characteristics while incorporating modern touches to create a collaborative environment that aligns with contemporary educational needs. The building increased natural light and glazing, providing a brighter and more welcoming environment for students and staff.

Standing proudly on the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy—the Odawa, Ojibway, and Potawatomi—the revitalized building pays homage to its indigenous roots. It aligns with Windsor Law’s mission and embodies our unwavering dedication to accessibility, well-being, and inclusivity. Through this revitalization, we reaffirm our commitment to the community, fostering meaningful connections with Indigenous, local, and legal communities alike.
