Christian is a construction professional with over 20 years of experience in the ICI sector for both public and private organizations throughout Ontario. As part of the executive team, Christian develops and manages all pre-construction processes and strategies. He oversees Fortis Group’s internal estimating team while partnering with consultants and sub-contractors to provide a well-defined project cost estimate that clients can confidently move forward with.
As Vice President of Estimating and Pre-Construction, Christian leads all estimates and proposals exceeding an annual volume of over $1 billion while quarterbacking the Estimating Department through the multitude of activities required to bid projects from a wide range of sectors concurrently. Christian guides the team to ensure pre-construction scheduling progresses on track and budgets remain achievable through fluid value engineering exercises. His expert knowledge is invaluable to developing pre-construction planning including costing, methodology, and scheduling.
Christian’s proven ability to champion and engage the estimating team gives Fortis Group a competitive advantage in providing estimates for any project regardless of size, scope, or complexity. His strategic and practical direction is a driving force behind Fortis Group’s aggressive growth across the province.
Christian holds an Architecture Technology Diploma from St. Clair College, CCA Gold Seal Certification (Estimator), and CIQS Construction Estimator Certified designation.
