Fortis Group completed the ground-up construction of a new Bass Pro Shop located in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The 80,000 sq. ft. store is one of four anchor tenants at the Outlet Collections at Niagara. The project required extensive site work along with highly-detailed interior finishes, which incorporated niche habitats and native wildlife to fit both the brand and the local environment.
The state-of-the-art shopping experience also includes an indoor 13,000-gallon freshwater aquarium. The aquarium is home to and showcases indigenous fish species of the Niagara region. The aquarium also features a 3D diorama of a waterfall with big horn sheep and mountain goats against a backdrop mural of British Columbia’s Mount Assiniboine. Strategic planning combined with seamless execution allowed the state-of-the-art store to be successfully completed four months ahead of schedule.
