Fortis Group constructed the 6,500 sq. ft building addition to the Optimist Community Centre located at 1075 Ypres Blvd. This new Windsor Public Library branch was the consolidation of the South Walkerville and Remington Library Branches. Construction included a new shared entrance and lobby with the community centre, a library reception area, a kitchenette, new washrooms, a space designated for the general collection and archives (an approximately 30,000 volume collection), lounge area, and some maintenance improvements to the existing facility. The library was finished with a distinctive automotive theme fitting the branch name of W.F Chisholm, a well-respected Windsor automotive family. 

Fortis Group also completed new parking lot, improved exterior lighting, an outdoor patio area, asphalt sports court, bicycle parking, and new landscaping.
