Fortis Group acted as Construction Manager for 182 Pickering Inc., for the development of the senior’s apartment complex in Amherstburg, Ontario.

Fortis Group constructed the 35,000 sq. ft five-story, 32-unit affordable housing building in less than 12 months. This near net zero design included a geothermal heating system, significantly increased R-value to entire building envelope, and high efficiency triple glazed windows. As the Construction Manager, the team set the initial budget based on the original requirements and worked in conjunction with the owner and consultants to construct a building on time and within budget.
