Honouring Tradition, Shaping Tomorrow:

The Ron W. Ianni Faculty of Law Building Transformation

We recently completed a remarkable transformation at the University of Windsor’s Ron W. Ianni Faculty of Law Building. This ambitious project, a joint venture with EllisDon, is a testament to our commitment to preserving heritage while embracing the future.

Our joint venture project with EllisDon brought a renewed sense of purpose to the iconic Ron W. Ianni Faculty of Law Building. Covering an expansive 90,000 sq. ft. across three stories, this endeavour retained the building’s historic charm while introducing modern elements. The project’s essence is rooted in heritage preservation, accessibility, student-centricity, flexibility, and sustainability, embodying the evolving spirit of the university.

Our experience with the University of Windsor goes beyond the Ron W. Ianni Faculty of Law Building. It extends to our commitment to fostering academic excellence and community engagement. Last year, we completed the new Lancer Toldo Centre—a testament to the university’s dedication to innovation and growth—it represents just one facet of our partnership with this esteemed institution.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to advancing education, enriching the university, and embracing new opportunities for growth and development.

Transforming Care:

The Evolution of the new Brouillette Long Care Term Care Facility.

Embracing progress and a commitment to enhancing the lives of our community’s most cherished members, we’re thrilled to share the strides we’ve made in developing the new Brouillette Manor in Windsor, Ontario. The ambitious project, executed in two pivotal phases, is set to revolutionize how we provide care and create a nurturing environment for our residents.

Phase 1: A New Era of Comfort and Care

With the completion of a brand-new, thoughtfully designed one-story long-term care home, we’ve introduced 64 additional beds adjacent to the existing facility. With careful attention to every detail, from architectural design to advanced medical facilities, we’ve ensured that residents will experience the utmost comfort, security, and personalized care.

Phase 2: Paving the Way for Tomorrow

As we celebrate the success of Phase 1, we’re already well on our way into Phase 2. This phase, currently underway, marks the next step in our journey toward reimagining long-term care. The commencement of the demolition of the existing building is an exciting move that clears the path for what’s to come.

Phase 2 is set to bring even more innovation and enhancement. An additional 32 beds will soon become available, allowing even more individuals to benefit from exceptional care. Beyond the expanded capacity, we’re introducing new exterior amenity spaces prioritizing relaxation, recreation, and a sense of community.

Fortis Group Annual Charity Golf Tournament:

A Day of Gratitude & Impact

We recently had a blast at the Fortis Group Annual Charity Golf Tournament! The day was filled with swings, smiles, and incredible vibes, despite a little rain.

We want to express our immense gratitude for the incredible support in making this event a resounding success. Whether you were a participant, volunteer, donor, or sponsor, your involvement played a vital role in creating a day to remember.

A special thank you goes out to our title sponsor, Lekter Mechanical, whose generosity set the stage for this event’s success. ?

Thanks to our collective efforts, we’re thrilled to announce that we raised over $90,000 for the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Foundation. This remarkable achievement will significantly impact the lives of children and families in need, reinforcing our commitment to giving back to our beloved community.

This isn’t just a number; it’s a testament to the incredible impact we can create when we join forces.

Supporting Education:

Backpacks for Success

In our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, we’re thrilled that our team recently had the privilege of participating in the United Way’s “Backpack for Success” program, where we donated over 50 backpacks brimming with essential school supplies to help local students gear up for a successful academic year.

It was a genuine team effort, with our dedicated employees volunteering their time and energy to fill these backpacks with care and enthusiasm. Each backpack was thoughtfully packed with the tools young minds need to thrive in the classroom, from notebooks and pens to calculators and art supplies.

This initiative perfectly aligns with our values to positively impact our community. Education is a powerful tool, and we believe every student should have the necessary resources to excel. By providing these backpacks, we hope to ease the burden on families and ensure that students can confidently start the school year.
