As we plan for an exciting 2020, we are looking back on an extremely successful 2019 at Fortis Group!

Over the past 12 months we built and renovated over 2 million square feet across the province while maintaining one the highest health and safety records in the industry.

This year we started, advanced, and completed projects in over 30 cities across Ontario. Fortis began two major post secondary school recreational projects and commenced the undertaking of several major redevelopment projects across the province. We expanded our expertise across all sectors and added to our ever-growing portfolio of major national retail brands to important community institutions. As always, we place an important focus on continuing to support numerous charity organizations as well as hosting our Inaugural Fortis Construction Group Inc. Charity Golf Tournament.

Stay tuned in 2020 as we progress on over 2.5 million square feet of new and ongoing projects throughout Ontario!

Fortis Group is always pushing the limits to #BUILDSTRONG and increase our service footprint in Ontario. With 3 offices and over 150 employees across the province, Fortis Group continues to be one of Ontario’s leading general contractors. This time we’ve made ourselves a new permanent home in London, Ontario!

Fortis set up shop in London to better serve clients in the area and keep operations as efficient as possible. The new office is located at 4026 Meadowbrook Dr., Unit 135. Stop in and say hi to the London Team!

Fortis Group recognizes the importance of sustainability in building for the future and is proud to present another successful LEED certified project. In late Spring 2018 Fortis Group completed ground-up shell buildings for Buildings K&L at 10 Maintou Dr. in Kitchener.

This year, Fortis is proud to announce both buildings recently received LEED Gold Certification from the Canada Green Building Council. Both buildings feature a number of design elements and green construction practices that helped achieve the stringent rating.

Fortis Group is committed to excellence in high-performance building construction and low carbon strategies to make Ontario a little greener with each project.

Christmas cheer was brought to Fortis offices, as we celebrated the holidays in our favourite way —giving back. This year we are very proud to support Drouillard Place and the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Foundation.
At Fortis, our values and our community are at the heart of our work. Over the holidays we volunteer and do what we can to bring a little comfort and cheer to families in need.
A big thank-you goes out to our Fortis “elves” for the extra time and dedication you put into supporting these amazing organizations!

As we enter an exciting new year, we would like to thank you for your continued support, dedication and commitment to Fortis Group. It has been another amazing year at Fortis and we cant express how excited we are for 2020.
