As Sears disappears, Fortis Group is partnering with Cushman & Wakefield to reimagine and repurpose multiple locations of their departed department stores across Ontario. Demo and redevelopment are already underway at Carlingwood Shopping Centre in Ottawa, Pickering Town Centre in Kingston, and Lansdowne Place in Peterborough. Fortis Group is thrilled to undertake the challenge of transitioning over 400,000 square feet for future development.

The bustle of Toronto’s core was an atmosphere we embraced as we took on our most recent refurbishment project. Fortis Group went to great lengths to carefully restore the façade at 20 Adelaide Street East to its original glory. We felt right at home working around the corner from last year’s job site, the Dundas Square Shopper’s Drug Mart. Our team thrives in high traffic areas and is already looking forward to our next metropolitan makeover!

Fortis Group was selected by Movati Athletic to construct their latest fitness club in Windsor, Ontario. The modern two storey facility will feature two swimming pools, aerobics centre, yoga studios, cross fit areas, and tons of other fitness amenities. Work is progressing nicely for this buff new build! Fortis Group is pumping some serious iron to get Movati’s incredible athletic club fit for flexing to the city of Windsor!

Demonstrating our capabilities for complex and unique projects, Fortis Group recently constructed Belwood Poultry’s new freezer building and packaging facility in Windsor. The new processing facility is a big step up for Belwood, increasing their operations by 40,000 square feet!

Fortis Group completed the project to meet Belwood’s highest health and safety standards. The facility adheres to the following certifications: CFIA Inspected and HACCP Recognized. Fortis Group is proud to add onto the already cutting edge and innovative facility.

Fortis Group is pleased to announce our partnering with Children’s Aid Foundation for our Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament. The sold out event will take place on August 12, 2019 at the Ambassador Golf Course. All proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit the Windsor-Essex Community of youth in need. Thank you to the Children’s Aid Foundation for the opportunity to contribute to a wonderful initiative to help children in need of continued support.
